Elk Hunts

Idaho Elk Hunts

Archery: August 30th – September 30th

Any Weapon: October 10th – November 8th

We offer fully guided lodge-based elk hunts in some of Idaho’s most beautiful and game rich units. Our goal is to get you where the elk are, so we use horseback, side by sides, and hiking to get you there. Besides our guides, we have at least 5 spotters on the mountain feeding us information on game movement so the guides can take you to the most active areas and stay on the game the whole hunt.

We will almost always return to the lodge each night, but on rare occasions where we kill an elk late in a very deep area, we may stay on the mountain. If that’s the case, we will provide sleeping bags and everything you need to stay warm and comfortable. If you’re wanting a remote backcountry hunt where you’re staying light and mobile, we can certainly offer that. If you’re wanting to go deep and stay on the mountain in one of our horse camps, we can also do that.

We have really good game numbers and tons of wild country to hunt that we know well and lots of eyes on. No matter what style of hunt you want, we’ll make it a success.

If you’ve got questions about when to come or what hunt is right for you, give us a call or send us a message and we’ll be sure to figure out a plan that fits the type of experience you’re wanting to have.

Due to the nature of hunting, we cannot guarantee a successful harvested animal. We do, however, have a high success rate with hunters who are willing to work hard and can make a good shot on an animal.

We outfit in Units 33 and 35 of the Sawtooth Zone.
